About Us
Community Builders is a leading nonprofit construction based Social Enterprise serving Northern and Central Ontario. CB provides training, employment, and affordable housing to meet the growing needs of our communities' most vulnerable populations. We are experienced general contractors, serving our community through a variety of residential housing projects including legal second suites, ADUs, bathroom and kitchen renovations, alongside our extensive work in social and affordable housing units. These projects allow us to teach and train the next generation of skilled tradespeople through our pre-employment training program, giving them paid hands-on learning opportunities in construction. Our training program is designed to give people in our communities facing barriers to employment, a foundational knowledge that will support them as they start a meaninful career in the trades. Operations in Greater Sudbury began in 2021 and since then we have proudle connected those who need the work, with the work that most needs to be done.
